The Remnant Identified

Not a denomination, but a people

Printable Tract

In the final days, God has a faithful remnant. This remnant is not defined by membership rolls, but by clear biblical characteristics.

1. They Keep the Commandments of God

This means all ten, not just nine, including the seventh-day Sabbath (Saturday). If you love Jesus, you will keep His commandments (John 14:15).

"Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus." Revelation 14:12
2. They Possess the Testimony of Jesus

The testimony of Jesus is the "spirit of prophecy" (Revelation 19:10): embracing Christ's teachings and His example. They uphold what Jesus testified about the Father and His law.

The Sabbath: The Identifying Mark

The Sabbath commandment is the "contested" one. The Roman Catholic Church changed it. Protestantism accepted the change. The remnant obeys God's original command.

3. They Come Out of Babylon

Babylon represents religious systems that substitute human traditions for divine commands, such as replacing God's Sabbath with an unauthorized day of worship. God's call is clear: "Come out of her, my people" (Revelation 18:4).

4. They Refuse the Mark of the Beast

The mark is a test of loyalty. The remnant will refuse enforced Sunday worship, choosing instead to obey God by keeping His Sabbath, even at the cost of livelihood or life.

5. They Endure to the End

The remnant stands firm through persecution, relying on Christ's righteousness and the faith of Jesus, not their own works.

The Thread Reaches You

The remnant is not a denomination. It is a posture toward God's finished work, kept across centuries by people in every tradition who trusted Christ and kept His commandments. The thread has never broken, and it reaches to wherever you stand now.
