The Issue Is Worship
The mark isn't a microchip or barcode. It's a test of worship and authority. Who determines the day of rest: God through His unchanging Word, or man through changeable tradition?
The "forehead" represents mental assent (believing Sunday is right). The "hand" represents pragmatic compliance (keeping Sunday for convenience or survival).
The infrastructure for "no buy or sell" already exists. Digital currencies, social credit systems, and universal IDs can enforce compliance instantly. The question is not whether it's possible, but when.
The Remnant's Response
"Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus." (Rev 14:12)
Not political resistance. Not armed rebellion. The answer is faithful obedience: keeping God's commandments (including His Sabbath) while trusting in Jesus.
